Bike rental form
Sending the following form is not binding for both parties and represents a simple request for availability for bicycle rental. Any rental confirmation will be sent to you by the iBikeMontaione’s staff.

Do I have to wear a helmet?
Helmets are not required by law but are highly recommended. In addiction to the bike it is possible to rent an helmet.
What if I get a flat?
All rentals include a repair kit with bike pump, spare tube and tyre leavers. Who rent a bike should be prepared for a flat and know how to change one. If not, please return to the starting point (the place where you stay) on foot and no longer climb on the bike (it could be dangerous and cause serious damage to the bicycle) and call our service at +39 3467623211.
How does the bike pick-up and delivery service works?
iBikeMontaione.com does not have a physical store, so it is required to fill a rental form on our website telling us where you are staying and how long you want to keep the bikes. Delivery will be made the evening before (between 17.00pm and 19.00pm) the day specified in the rental start date. We will collect the bike after 18.00 on the rental end date. The delivery and collection will not be made on Saturdays.
We can deliver the bicycles anywhere in Montaione, Castelfiorentino, Gambassi Terme, Certaldo and Montespertoli. At the end of the car we will come to take. Easy, right?
Must I reserve a bike? How do I reserve?
As we don't have a bike shop we require you to reserve your bikes.
In order to reserve, you have to visit our bike rental page and click on "Reserve a bike" and fill out the form with the required data concerning your name, email, etc, and than click on "send" button.
Your reservation cannot be confirmed until we check your request with our inventory, so you will need to wait 2/4 hours in order for your reservation to be confirmed. You'll then receive an invoice to your email address with the total cost of the rental.
We remember that we required to pay the balance (In cash. Credit cards are not accepted) when we deliver you the bikes.
How far in advance do I have to reserve a bike?
At least 2 days in advance. You can also call us or send an sms (via Whatsapp) before booking to see how quickly we'll be able to get your bikes to you.
What comes with the bicycle rental?
All rentals include a repair kit and a cable lock.
In addition, to thank you for choosing the iBikeMontaione rental service, you will receive as a gift a nice present branded SCOTT.

It is possible to reschedule my reservation?
If you would like to reschedule your reservation you may do so at any time depending on availability.
What does NOT come with the bicycle rental?
The following options incur additional costs: helmet, damage/theft insurance and delivery cost that may vary depending on the type of bicycle and the place of delivery.
Do I have to lock my bike everywhere?
Absolutely! Many bikes are stolen when their owners just pop into the shop for a second, leaving the bike unlocked and unattended.
Where can I keep my bike overnight?
It's obviously better if you can bring your bike inside the apartment or in hotel overnight. Many hotels allow guests to do this. Before renting a bike, make sure your accommodation has a place to safely store your bike or allows you to bring it into the apartment/room.
What is insurance? Is it mandatory?
Insurances are not obligatory. We also offer damage/theft insurance. Damage insurance covers the bicycle only for accidental damages and not damages caused to third parties. Theft insurance cover the bikes in case are stolen.
What if the bike is stolen?
This is highly unlikely.
If you keep your bicycle locked when traveling and stored inside the hotels in the evening, then you'll never have to worry and you can save the theft insurance cost.
In the unlikely event that your bicycle is stolen the first thing to do is to call us. If you have purchased theft insurance with us, then there is no problem. You'll simply have to declare the theft to the local police and we'll do our best to get another bicycle to you as soon as possible.
If you HAVE NOT purchased theft insurance, then we will charge you of € 900,00 per Mtb (€ 2.900 Emtb) and you'll also need to file a police report with local authorities and present us with a copy of the report.
What if the bike is damaged?
We understand that our bicycles and equipment will go through a lot and we're not worried about normal wear and tear and cosmetic damages.
However, if a cyclist does significant damage to a bicycle during the ride (bent derailleur, broken wheel, bicycle frame, etc) or a serious damage is seen upon the bicycles pick-up, then we will charge for whatever repairs are needed.
If you have NOT chosen the damage insurance option, a minimum refund of €50.00 will be required (or more if the damage is more serious).
If you have purchased our insurance, no charges are incurred.
